On-Grid Solar System Installation
Installed a 6 kW on-grid solar power system on a residential rooftop, directly connected to the utility
electricity grid. This project included 18 high-efficiency photovoltaic solar panels paired with a
grid-tied inverter, optimized for maximum daytime energy generation and cost savings.
The system supplies power during the day and exports surplus electricity back to the grid through
net metering, significantly reducing monthly electricity bills.
Service Highlights:
Grid Connectivity & Net Metering: The solar system is integrated with the local power grid,
enabling excess electricity generated during peak sunlight hours to be exported to the grid.
Through net metering, the homeowner earns energy credits that are used when solar production
is low, such as at night or on cloudy days.
More Details
Energy Savings: The on-grid solar system meets approximately 85–90% of the household’s annual
electricity requirements. Within the first year, the homeowner achieved up to a 35% reduction
in electricity costs due to efficient solar utilization and net metering benefits.
Environmental Impact: This installation helps reduce dependence on fossil fuel-based electricity,
preventing an estimated 4 metric tons of CO₂ emissions annually and contributing to a cleaner,
greener environment.
Benefits to the Homeowner:
Lower Electricity Bills: Significant reduction in monthly power expenses by utilizing solar
energy during daylight hours.
Net Metering Advantage: Earn credits for surplus electricity supplied back to the grid.
Low Maintenance: On-grid systems require minimal maintenance since no battery storage is involved.
Eco-Friendly Energy: Continuous access to clean, renewable energy while remaining connected
to the utility power grid.
